High Vacuum Silicone Grease (H.V.G. – 20)

Description & Application:

This is silicone base grease specially manufactured for vacuum system. This is use for lubrication of stopcock valves of glass vessel. H.V.G.–20 is suitable for Vacuum upto10-9 Torr.

Appearance: Translusent White
Temp Range: -40°C  to  225°C
Penetration: 200 –260

Solubility:

H.V.G.-20 compound is not soluble in water, methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, acetone glycol And glycerin However, it can be dispersed in kerosene, benzene, toluene ethyl ether, carbon tetrachloride, petroleum ether, methylene chloride or perchloro ethylene.
